Inveraray Castle dates back to the 18th century, and since then is the seat of the Dukes of Argyll, chiefs of Clan Campbell, who still live in private apartments in the castle. The Gothic Revival style country house, surrounded by large gardens and estate, is open to visitors. It is located in the county of Argyll.
