Norfolk, Virginia, USA - August 23, 2024: The bridge of the USS Wisconsin (BB-64) at the waterfront.
The battleship U.S.S. Alabama, now retired as a floating museum in Mobile, AL. Shot taken from the bow directly in front of the forward gun turret, looking up towards the bridge and conning tower. Photo has been given a retro treatment to make it look like it was taken in the 1940s during active service. Grey overall color with slight blue/grey tint, and some slight graininess.

Several retired Charleston-class amphibious cargo ships sit at anchor at the NAVSEA Inactive Ships Maintenance Facility at the Philadelphia Navy Yard.\n\nShips of this class served the US Navy between 1968 and 1994, after which their role was taken over by a newer class of “amphibious transport dock†ships.
Angles and ship number on the bow of USS Canberra (LCS 30), an Independence Class combat ship of the US Navy docked at Garden Island in Sydney Harbour.  She is in port for a commissioning ceremony on 22 July 2023. In the background is an area of native vegetation forming part of the Sydney Harbour National Park.
