Leptura quadrifasciata, the spotted longhorn beetle, is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae. In extreme cases the elytra may be almost entirely black. It is found throughout the Northern and Central Palaearctic region. \nLarvae make meandering galleries in various trees, including oak, beech, birch, willow, alder, elder and spruce. The life cycle lasts two or three years.\nThe adults are very common flower-visitors, especially Apiaceae species, feeding on pollen and the nectar (source Wikipedia). \n\nThis is a common Species in the Netherlands.

Spiraea cantoniensis, also called Bridal-wreath Spiraea, Cape May, Double white May, May bush, and Reeve's Spiraea, is a deciduous perennial shrub typically grown as an ornamental plant in gardens and parks.
