Stuttgart, Germany - July 29, 2020: The Birkenkopf  - called 'Monte Scherbelino' (Trümmerberg) is a 509-meter high hill in Stuttgart, Germany. Much of Stuttgart was destroyed by Allied bombing during WWII, and in the 1950s rubble was carried to the top of this hill, increasing its height by around 40 meters.

The ancient Dacian ruins at Sarmizegetusa Regia, in the Transylvania region of Romania. Sarmizegetusa Regia was the capital and the most important military, religious and political centre of the Dacians prior to the wars with the Roman Empire.
