Dolbadarn Castle is a fortification built by the Welsh prince Llywelyn the Great during the early 13th century, at the base of the Llanberis Pass, in North Wales.

9th July 2023: Aerial drone view of Carrifran Wildwood, a 1,600 acre site of carefully planted native trees, managed by Borders Forest Trust. Located a few miles northeast of Moffat in the Scottish Borders, the project site, run by teams of dedicated volunteers, have reintroduced native trees, into this ancient ice carved glacial valley, which had been stripped bare from centuries of livestock grazing. The first trees were planted on 1st January 2000 and Carrifran Wildwood is now a location of scientific interest and is recognised as a very successful re-wilding site, with a natural and authentic biodiversity.
