Bitter cress / Cardamine flexuosa / Cardamine scutata

$Low to short annual, branched only at the base; stems straight, hairless. Leaves pinnate, mostly in a basal rosette; leaflets angular, hairy above. Flowers small, white, 3-4mm, petals equal of sepals or absent; stamen 4 usually. Fruit 18-25mm, greatly overtopping the flower buds.\nHabitats: Barte open ground, cultivated land, rocky places and old walls.\nFlower season: February-November.\nDistribution: Throughout Europe, except Spitsbergen. \n\nA common weed of cultivation, particular gardens.$
