Colonial Ascidian Didemnum psammatodes is native to Northern Australia and other tropical and subtropical regions in the Indo-West Pacific in a depth range from 1-15m. \nThe species is introduced to the Atlantic where it was first recorded in Guadeloupe in 1980-1981. Since then it has been reported in several areas, probably transported to the Atlantic through shipping and hull fouling.\nThe scattered large exhalant openings are distinctive for that species. As a filter feeder, Didemnum psammatodes is not eating but just overgrowing the coral. \nTriton Bay, West Papua Province, Indonesia, \n3°54'3.384 S 134°6'26.448 E at 16m depth

Gorgonian Wrapper Nemanthus annamensis, a species of Sea Anemones, is a common commensal on gorgonian sea fans and sea whips in Central Indo-Pacific water deeper than 10m. Sea anemones can contract and bend the column in various directions. The Gorgonian Wrapper's muscles can also be used to expand the column and tentacles by using hydrostatic pressure. This is called a hydrostatic skeleton. Gorgonian Wrappers can detach themselves from the bottom and relocate. Pantar Island, Indonesia, 8°12'51\

The stem of this Dendronephthya Soft Coral reveals the pattern of the sclerites. These spiny skeletal elements are important for the support of these corals, the spiky structure also deters predators and is useful in species ID. Each polyp has eight pinnate tentacles which it uses to capture nutrients suspended in the water column. Southwest Peleliu Island, Palau, Micronesia, 7°0'48.69 N 134°13'7.01 E at 12m depth
