The yellow trumpet flower or Tecoma stans is a fast growing shrub or small tree, often grown as an ornamental by virtue of its many yellow trumpet-shaped, scented flowers. Sometimes it's also cultivated for its medicinal virtues.
Tocoma stans, commonly called yellow bells, yellow trumpet bush, yellow elder, trumpet bush, esperanza, or ginger-thomas, is a broadleaf evergreen shrub or small tree that features a lengthy bloom of bright yellow tubular flowers. Trumpet-shaped bright yellow flowers bloom continuously from late spring to autumn frost.

Tall, green, not mealy perennial; stems erect, hairy. Kerria japonica, commonly called Japanese kerria or Japanese rose, is a graceful, spring-flowering, deciduous shrub that is native to certain mountainous areas of Japan and China.
