Cape Pembroke, Port Stanley, Falkland Islands: Figas BN-2B Islander aircraft with small tug at Stanley Airport - the Britten-Norman BN-2 Islander (IATA code BNI, ICAO code BN2P) is a twin-engine aircraft, designed at the beginning of the 1960s as a multi-purpose aircraft, particularly for connecting poorly developed regions with unpaved airfields - Stanley is the only civilian airport in the islands with a paved runway. (RAF Mount Pleasant military air base functions as the islands' main international airport, due to its long runway). Port Stanley Airport is operated by the Government of the Falkland Islands, and is used for internal flights between the islands and flights between the Falklands and Antarctica. Hub for the Falkland Islands Government Air Service (FIGAS).
