Trabzon, Turkey-July 25, 2018: Frescoes on the ceiling and walls in Trabzon Hagia Sophia Mosque. The frescoes contain stories and figures from Christianity. The building, which was built as a church in the 1200s, is still used as a mosque today. This building has been used as a mosque since 2013.
Crucifix in the Cathedral of San Cristobal de la Laguna – also known as Catedral de Nuestra Senora de los Remedios – is constructed in a neo gothic and partly neo classical style in 1904 to 1915. It was declared an UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999. It is situated in La Laguna which used to be the main city on the Spanish Canary Island Tenerife.
