Lexington, Massachusetts, USA - February 26, 2024: Buckman Tavern is a historic American Revolutionary War site associated with the revolution's very first battle, the 1775 Battle of Lexington and Concord. It is located on the Battle Green in Lexington. The tavern was built in about 1709-1710 by Benjamin Muzzey, and with license granted in 1693 was the first public house in Lexington. Although best known as the headquarters of the militia, Buckman Tavern is also noteworthy as perhaps the busiest of Lexington's 18th-century taverns. It housed the first village store in Lexington, and later, in 1813, the first town post office.

Washington DC, USA - January 28, 2023: American Institute of Pharmacy Building was built on The Mall in downtown Washington DC, USA in 1933.
In 1846 the State legislature chose Montgomery as the permanent capital city for Alabama. Architects from New York, Baltimore and New Orleans entered the competition in 1846 for the design of the Montgomery Capital. Stephen Decatur Button was awarded the contract. The exterior walls are stucco over brick and the 97 foot dome is metal painted white. The interior walls are of sand-finished plaster, with hall floors of marble and office floors of pine. The Alabama Capitol was added to the National Register of Historic Places August 10, 1977.
