KABUL, AFGHANISTAN - 04 June 2019: Old Market parts of dried fruit market got on fire it took hours to firefighters to extinguish the fire. A significant fire broke out at the Milad Supermarket in one of Kabul's busiest trading areas, resulting in extensive financial losses estimated in the millions of Afghanis. Despite the early hour, the blaze quickly engulfed the multi-story building and spread to an adjacent structure. The response from the firefighting units was reportedly delayed, exacerbating the situation as the fire continued to rage for several hours. The late arrival of emergency services likely contributed to the extensive damage and the prolonged duration of the blaze, highlighting potential issues in emergency response and infrastructure within the city.
