A male Mountain Bluebird (Sialia currucoides) at the San Jacinto Wildlife Area in Riverside County in southern California. This beautiful thrush winters in central and northern Mexico as well as in central and southwestern United States. It breeds in the western US northward into western Canada and Alaska.
