Capsule oval to slightly heart-shaped, longer than the calyx, hairy.\nHabitat: Woods and heaths, grassland, generally on rather dry soils, to 2150m.\nFlowering Season: Throughout Europe, except Spitsbergen.\n\nThis Plant was photographed during a Vacation in Czechoslovakia in 2004.$

Flowering throughout the year.\nDistribution: Naturalized through Europe, since early in the nineteenth century.\n\nThis is a common Species on the described Habitat and other Rural Places in the Netherlands.$
