Belfast, Northern Ireland. 26/07/2014 - A Royal Navy sailor stands at the prow of a Pacific 28 RIB as it approaches HMS Duncan in the Irish Sea at the mouth to Belfast Lough.  Duncan had been on a six-month tour where it partook in exercises in the Mediterranean Sea with other NATO forces and helped in a number of patrols monitoring for illegal immigrant crossing.  She then sailed to the far east, where she spent a number of months with the Australian, New Zealand and Japanese Navies in exercises and patrols.  Duncan's home city is Belfast, and on this visit, all crew were granted 4 days shore leave in the city.
Kochel / Germany - July 24, 2019: Paratrooper from Bundeswehr, German army exercises parachute jumps over water. From July 22nd to 26th, 2019, Bundeswehr exercises were held at the lake Kochelsee in Upper Bavaria. An airplane, an M 28, flies over the lake Kochelsee with parachutists, while skydiving over water is practiced. Parachutists are brought ashore by divers and lifeguards in boats. In serious duty the paratroopers have to swim ashore. Jumping over water is an emergency scenario, because usually the parachutists land on land.

Malé, Maldives: Coast Guard vessel moored, T702 Iskandhar fast patrol boat - Coastal surveillance vessel under the National Security Service - Colombo class Ultra Fast Attack Craft (UFAC), built in Sri Lanka by Colombo Dockyard Limited, using and Israeli design, the boats are meant for a variety of naval missions from off-shore coastal patrol missions to high-speed, high-maneuver littoral warfare. The Maldivian Coast Guard is the naval or maritime arm of the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF). As the Maldives does not have a navy, the Coast Guard also functions as such.
