Please see photo attached. I hope there could be a conspicuous overhead signage “Please Order Here” at all 4 sides of the cashier counter. This would eliminate customers from trying to order from the Food stall cooks and avoid further confusion and frustration. Imagine how much manpower dollars are wasted from the food stall cook directing each and every customer to the cashier. Additionally, a conspicuous signage / floor sticker arrows facing the front of the customer as he/she turns into the walkway towards Streats Food Village after alighting from the escalator would be helpful in guiding customers towards the self-order kiosk rather than walking directly to the food stalls. During my visit to Streats Food Village at Changi Airport on 2 Jan 2016 – 11pm, the cashier was unaware that the Bah Kut Teh Stall had ran out of beancurd skin. Better communication between the Food stall’s cook and cashier is needed. I also hope that a buzzer system (see Melbourne, Australia – Melbourne Central Mall / Emporium Mall– upper level food court) could be used instead of the Food Stall cooks shouting out the call no. (noise pollution) or reliant on the Television Screen which the food would be cold by then. If the above is not feasible to implement now, please store this feedback in your knowledge system until such time a new project is needed to be championed for the justification of your salary increments and maximising your bonuses. Could you kindly spare 3 mins to delegate this task to your assistant so she/he can delegate others to carry out the necessary review? 4 January 2016 Singapore Changi Airport PO Box 168 Singapore 918146 Tel: (65) 6595 6868 Attention: Mr Lee Seow Hiang Chief Executive Officer Singapore Tourism Board Tourism Court 1 Orchard Spring Lane Singapore 247729 Attention: Mr Lionel Yeo Chief Executive Officer RE: Signage failed to direct customers to Self Order Kiosk as it is not front facing the vantage point to customers entering the walkway from the escalators Dear Mr Lee and Mr Yeo I hope this letter finds you well.
