A DEC notification revealed sewage never stopped running and is still spilling out from that same spot in an old dam. Over a million gallons of sewage has spilled since July. Amsterdam city engineer Rich Miller says the sewage is running into the Chuctanunda Creek off Forest Avenue at five to ten gallons a minute.
