Most of the few statues that do exist fall into three categories: - Sir Isaac Brock - Honourable William Hamilton Merrit - War memorials I do not mean to suggest that these are undeserving subjects for statues. However, having seen them so many times, I tend to find the less common ones more compelling. This leaves few candidates. I end up returning to "The Race" by William McElcheran on the grounds of Rodman Hall. Whether viewed in whole or in part, it still has a comical feel to it (for me).
