We were in town shoe shopping, and noticed a couple of police motorbikes and a loud noise coming up Church Street. It turned out to be a march of the soldiers of the TA's 208 Field Hospital that has been out in Afghanistan. I don't know her face well enough to see if she was in the parade, but this is the unit that Laura's lab manager serves in, so I now feel my applause was well justified. On the bus home we saw that they marched up to St. George's Hall where they had a formal reception on the Plaza. Good job.
