| Keywords: brownfield campion flattened gone old school oldschool project 365 project365 outdoor road I had a meeting to go to this afternoon, and it was being hosted at Campion City Learning Centre in Everton. This was a high tech 'community' resource (in truth I'm sure it's only ever schools who truly use it) that was built alongside Campion Boys School. Campion was once a proud school, and amongst its notable alumni was Steve McManaman the footballer. Sadly it hit hard times and as is so often the case it floundered under the pressure to improve. It's now the flat, brown field you see in this picture. I hate seeing old school sites like this, as no matter how difficult things might have been it always represents someone's happy memories.
