| Keywords: bookcase large furniture largefurniture oak finish oakfinish project 365 project365 Not a great shot today, but these things are bugger to shoot and my widest field of view was on my phone. This is pretty much the story of the weekend - waiting for our new bookcases to be delivered. They were due between 15:30 and 18:30 yesterday, but at half six there was still no sign. The guys called to say they'd be an hour or so late, and ended up rocking up at about eight fifteen. They finished installing these at about quarter past nine, then went to do another delivery in Bootle before ANOTHER one in Manchester and then a drive to Scotland the next day! Ouch! The bookcases are fabulous anyway. It's hard to get a sense of scale from the photo, but they're huge, standing eight feet tall and sixteen feet wide. They're well suited to the scale of the room though, standing a few inches below the picture rail. Sometimes that 11 foot ceiling is handy! Hopefully we'll get them populated over the coming week.
