And I haven't been trespassing on railway lines which is something that generally either gets you arrested or killed. The line belongs to the Merseyside Live Steam Model Engineers (I think) who have been based in Calderstones Park since God was a boy. This is where my old man spends his Sunday afternoons, and today they were doing a test run on thier new loco. It's very nice and very powerful, with four motors and two three axle bogies. Unfortunately they hit a problem with one of the tight curves that the loco didn't quite want to get round. They reckon this should be resolvable by grinding the flanges on the central axle. Time will tell, and if it all works then I might get more photos to show you. :) No, this wasn't a suicide moment.
