Laura's family friends, Lissu and Eeva, are over in Liverpool for a travelling trip to celebrate Lissu's 70th birthday. It so happened that the only night that really worked for us to meet up was tonight, which happens to be Lissu's actual birthday. She was travelling so that she didn't have to celebrate it, but celebrate we did with some lovely scran at the Racquet Club. I didn't think it would be rammed on a Wednesday night but for about an hour we were the sole diners! A lovely evening indeed, and here's a shot of the Finns together next to what seemed the world's biggest doors!* And shhh...we got some tasty chocolate treats from Finland too. :) *Yes, I know the world's largest door's are on NASA's Vehicle Assembly Building, but don't deny me my moment!
