One is in July, and one in September. When we have an open event I invariably snap something from the science department as my photo of the day. Today is no exception. This is a foam bath that has had gas blown through it. The resulting bubbles are then ignited with a splint and this is the result. Of course, this was a one shot deal for me and I was exposed to the bench before the flames, which makes the resulting fireburst hugely over exposed. Ah well.
