We went along to have a look! It closed as a hospital in 1988 and has been effectively out of use since, so you can imagine that it's interesting looking inside. This really ropey photograph is of the great hall, which was surely used for dining purposes and general assemblies during the operation of the orphanage. Blessedly, it all seems in really quite good shape. Let's hope it finds a purpose soon!
