Laura and I often joke that Karin is easily distracted, and when viewing a huge pile up, or some life changing event, she'd stop and say "Oh look, a rainbow!" Well, here she is photographing a rainbow, even though it hasn't come across very well on the camera. Interestingly, there was something else going on. We went along to Crosby Beach to have a look at 'Another Place', aka the metal men. It seems that some poor sole had got himself stuck in some quicksand on the beach. This was awful for him, but he did at least have a little help. The man in the sand drew the attention of (we think): three police cars, one ambulance, two ambulance incident response teams, two fire engines, the Fire and Rescue service mud and rope rescue team, an off road police vehicle, an off road coastguard vehicle and the Liverpool lifeboat. I think it must have been a slow night for our uniformed services. ;) This photo has been a long time coming!
