Anyone who has tended to a Virginia Creeper will know that it takes over anything that deigns to stand in its path. Walls, fences, slow moving elderly folk...you name it. The time when you can tell that ours really needs trimming is when it starts growing inside. This is the inside of my window on the first floor.
