Plagued by the demons of office temperatures regularly above thirty degrees, salvation arrived in the form of two HVAC engineers and a split air conditioning unit. It's fitted and it's been running all day today. The target temperature was set at 20C and my desk thermometer reported a temperature of between 19.5 and 20.5 all day. Score! I think we'll nudge it up to 22C and leave it there all year. I don't care that it's a hand me down from another school.
