There were some great aircraft and some wonderful flying to be seen. One of the highlights for me was this beautiful Vickers Wellington bomber that did some great low passes. The better informed amongst you might be thinking that there are only two complete Wellingtons left in existence and neither of them fly, and further that the Southport Air Show isn't until September. You'd be right on both counts - today was the Southport MODEL Air Show, courtesy of the Southport Model Air Club, and this Wellington was about ten feet long. In the air, you wouldn't know.
