It's far enough to have to get up early, but not so far as to require an overnight stay. It was an excellent show, right up until about four o'clock where the odd bits of drizzle turned into full on deluge and we got soaked to the skin. That made the three and a half hours in the car less than amusing! Anyway, what's important is that amongst all the great stuff we saw was the first public display of the Reds for 2010. The first display of the season is never the best, and 2010 certainly had a very difficult labour, but it was a superb show nevertheless, and the perfection of this classic diamond nine shows how hard they've been working on getting 'the basics' absolutely spot on. A great show, even with the squelching shoes at the end of it. And now I'll make a start on that work I was supposed to be doing today. :) Today brought a very early start as we went to the Air Show at RAF Cosford.
