I had a governors meeting this evening so I didn't really have much time to sort a shot out, but as I was getting out of the car to go into the meeting I pointed my phone at the sun and knocked off a snap. This kind of shot is going to kill just about any camera, so I guess I'm probably surprised at how well it coped. You can see that there's loads of flare in this shot. That's light reflecting internally in the camera and appearing in the sensor when it shouldn't really be there. Most lens manufacturers apply special coatings to the lens elements to reduce flare, but that's not going to be a priority for Nokia ;) Today was, meteorologically at least, very nice.
