As far as I can tell (corrections and additions welcome) this reads: "Arrived in Paris last night. Started at 7 yesterday but missed the train so took midday train to Rouen went to see Miss E there & then came on here arriving at 9.30. 1 hr late got to hotel for night. Stayed in bed til 9 have been for walk in Tuileries Gardens. Champs Elysee. Nap[oleon's] Tomb. Invalides luncheon Luxemburg Gardens back by Louvre Notre Dame (not inside) just got back am at Oxford & Cambridge Hotel. Rue d'Algiers[?] but are not likely to stay here. 4 o'clock so we are going out again to post (near Arc de Triomphe) & tea. Saw the German flags at Invalides [??] Luxemburg & Louvre unfortunately closed so I shall not see them. Lucky[?] had a fine day but cold wind. Am sending for letters parcel from Bordeaux. It is very nice getting paid for doing nothing. Love Mar" Beside the address, I think in another hand, is written "take care of this card". Don't worry, I intend to!
