BC Electric Railway Company observation car at Tramway Gorge Park loop off Old Gorge (now Tillicum) Road. Park opened July 26, 1905 after BCER Co. purchased the property adjacent to the Gorge Waterway from the Hudson's Bay Company in 1904. Streetcar service ran from Government and Yates Streets in Victoria. The sight-seeing observation car ran a three-hour tour of the city to Oak Bay, Esquimalt and Gorge Park until 1919.
