The second Alexandra Suspension Bridge over the Fraser River in its early years of use as part of the Cariboo Highway (Fraser Canyon Highway). When completed as a toll bridge in 1926 (although it didn't see traffic until May 24, 1927), it created the first, complete road link between Yale and Lytton since the 1880s. Use as a highway traffic structure ceased in 1964 when replaced by the New Alexandra Bridge (1962).
