As suspected it is the south face, which means where they are standing, if I can work out the angle, is close to or even within the ruins of the subsequently re-built wing of the Cloth Hall. I am assuming that this is some sort of event shortly after WWI as the parade is obviously military, and especially given the fairly obvious damage. So what is it, and exactly when?
