Prill was in the news in 2000 and living at a different address, when he was accused of using surveillance equipment to secretly record his neighbor's children for years, watching and taping the boys inside their house, while they were sleeping, and in the bathroom. The family discovered a buried cable leading into their house from Prill's. He pleaded guilty to burglary and served his sentence. Now, he is facing 10 counts of animal cruelty.
