This was originally at the rear entrance of Ilford station which is only open in the rush hours and which I actually used on my way home after visiting the museum. I can also recall passing the passimeter when it was still in Ilford. Ilford is on the Great Eastern mainline out of London Liverpool Street station and whilst it used to be in the county of Essex it has now become a London suburb. There was a time when we (in Ilford) enjoyed regular through trains to Chelmsford, Colchester and Southend-on-Sea, some of which ran non-top to London Liverpool Street station in just 11 minutes! Nowadays all trains (outside the rush hours) call at all stations and in 2018 will become part of the CrossRail service. A Passimeter at the East Anglian Railway Museum.
