That didn't stop a pair of men and one plucky dog from making the trip. They traveled over land, through heavy bush, and across streams and creeks to reach their destination. In addition to their provisions, these men carried with them several spare tires, shovels, pick axes, and other useful tools to help them along their journey. The hood of their car sported two pennants - one with "Fort William" written on it, the other "Port Arthur".
