I thought that the little guy looked familiar, and here's the whole family taken 7 months later. Both window displays proudly proclaim John Brennan's stocking of all things Horrockses (and the mysterious Diaphalene), and there's great evidence of 1920s material, voile and curtain pricing in the right hand window, all prices presumably by the yard... Diaphalene (for dainty lingerie) is a mystery no longer, thanks to DannyM8. See his lovely advertisement below.
