Unless there is a need to direct customers to the home page to log off the app due to promotional ads and the directive to implement less effort n cost in developing the app in the name of simplicity... I really love Commbank for the app and the convenience it offers. When i log on (picture A) > click on "view account" button n reached (picture B) > I would need to press the back button on the top left corner of picture B to go back a screen to picture A > in picture A i click on the "log off" button to log off. Summary: Currently u need to go to page 1 to pg 2 to pg 1 to sign out. Why not pg 1 to pg 2 n sign out on pg 2. You skip a step. Benefits: Save 0.5 seconds per access for the customers (i do not know what is the actual data from Commbank, lets just assume the app was accessed a million times in a day for the entire customer base in all of Australia. So 1 million multiply by 0.5 seconds = 500,000 seconds/8333 minutes/138 hours of potential increased productivity per day for the people in Australia. Australia minimum wage is $16.87. The increased productivity in dollars are estimated to be $2,328.06 per day. The potential lifespan of Commonwealth Bank or the app (critically speaking) be 2 years? Take 2 years (365 days * 2) multiply by $2,328.06 (increased productivity in dollars) = $1,699,483.80 How much would the development cost be on the app to add a "log off" lock icon and function on "view account" screen (picture B)? Time saved can be spend on useful pursuits such as working more for the upper elite class, playing video games, hanging out with friends, dining with loved ones, chilling with your children, etc. Money earned from the increased productivity (time) could be spent on materialistic desires thus increasing profits of businesses owned by wealthy and powerful decision makers or put in the bank which is also owned by wealthy, powerful and wise decision makers? I am not a finance expert and i am pretty naive to say... i hope my feedback helps in the development of the next update the app. Please correct me if i am wrong.. i welcome any constructive criticism. :) Loving Commonwealth Bank. :) Hi Commbank key decision maker, may i propose an addition of a "log out" button for Commbank app in the location indicated by the question mark in picture B.
