Keywords: mutantyearone Here's my take two of The Melbourne Zone. After making my first zone map for Mutant Year Zero I realised I'd gotten the scale all wrong. One square was supposed to equal a mile but I tend to think in k's so I ballsed it up and had to resize the whole thing. A square is closer to a mile now. I managed to include more of the wasteland now, in fact the area to the west of Melbourne was where the first Mad Max was filmed so if you look real close you might even see his interceptor. (jk) Also this second time around - I smashed the zone up a little harder. Adding a couple of big craters out near the roads to Ballarat and Geelong in the west and gowing all out and blowing up the entire north-east side of Melbourne's suburbs, as I'm a little more unfamiliar with that part of town than my players are, so as the GM, this way I can rig the playing field in my favor (insert nerdy evil laugh here).
