Hassall Green Canal Centre had Bottled gas, a Café, Chandlery, Diesel, Electric charging point, Moorings, a Restaurant, Short term, Toilets and a Water point. Converted to private dwellings and now up for sale again. There was also a pub, "The Romping Donkey", long closed and was in the process of being demolished when someone "remembered" it was a listed building. The "Malkins Bank Circular Walk" joins the Towpath here which is also part of the greater "Cheshire Ring Canals Walk".
