This year the budget as previous trends of increases in national price of fuels as a result of gradual reduction in the fuel subsidy previously provided by the GOTT. In this regard the UWI-ALJGSB seeks to examine the future of the energy market in Trinidad and Tobago as the gradual removal of the fuel subsidy is expected to have a profound impact on the society, economy and political landscape. The objectives of the event were to provide a targeted analysis of the removal of the fuel subsidy in Trinidad and Tobago.
