Behold the Wallace Opera Company... Operatic composer William Vincent Wallace was born in Waterford in 1812. I think that the Wallace Opera Company may have been performing Maritana, Wallace's most famous work, as we plausibly have a King of Spain; various noblemen; and gypsies. Not in themselves unusual as characters in an opera, but with the Wallace link... Thanks to desmondg47, we now know that this photo was taken at the rear of City Hall/Theatre Royal on The Mall, Waterford.
