Keywords: penzal müller mueller clarinet a wood vintage When I first went to assemble the horn the lifter there, in the top right of this shot, wasn't aligning right with the upper half or something. The finger rings on the lower, RH, half would not go flat unless the two sections were out of alignment nearly to the point of not making the necessary connections. I made some slight adjustments to the key part extending from the top half and voila, it worked. Not only did it work, but it played. Not only did it play, but I was able to go from the lowest note up the scale to the upper register. As for being in key, that is another story. I am guessing that with a better player and some new pads, etc., and I think it should be just right.
