I think it's a bit later, early 30's, only because the serial number is 5 digits long, rather than 4. Dating these instruments is however, hard since no one has positive evidence of what serial numbers were made when. and usually only guesses about the decade of manufacture, or era can be guessed. I did see a horn with a slightly later serial, 18XXX, with the model name artist above an emblem identical to this one.. Perhaps only a few years apart. The question still remains, what years?
