To place this segment of Rockport Road in relation to Interstate 69, Fullerton Pike, an east-west arterial, is located to the right. About 1/4 mile west, Fullerton intersects with State Road 37. That intersection, now closed, is currently being upgraded to a full I-69 interchange, featuring two traffic roundabouts on Fullerton Pike, one on each side of the interstate. Rockport Road will be extended another 30 yards north (from where the concrete curb ends) to form a new intersection with Fullerton Pike.
