| Keywords: Handyman photos Fix Barber Wilson diverter valve 18.JPG en I need to reduce a 1 pipe to a 1/2 pipe so it was done in stages Here I could not really use PEX or Sharkbite connectors since the pipe needs to be sturdy and solid and PEX rotates a bit The parts have been sanded with wire mesh and coated with flux before being blowtorched or soldered in my driveway to prevent fire See 19 Background This is image 18 of a repair project to fix a shower/tub diverter valve made by Barber Wilsons Co Ltd The handle which was supposed to divert water to the shower but it did not work; a plastic piece inside was broken Unfortunately since this valve could not be fixed from the front it required a major operation to open up the back and replace pipes I ended up replacing the defective valve with a Price Pfister valve-set so in future repairs will be easy 2015-09-18 own Tomwsulcer other versions cc-zero Uploaded with UploadWizard Handyman photos by tom sulcer Plumbing | ||||
