Decided on 639 Euclid Ave, $6750.00 December 1914 Began to help at C I M but carbuncle came on neck & kept me in 6 weeks. Hudson went to Belleville Dec 26th & A W hearing of Miss Ramsay's illness went down on the 30th and returned Jan. 4th. Cold weather & good sleighing. Hudson returned 2nd of January January 1915 Hudson started at Model School, in senior 3rd book. R W went to Belleville about the 15th for weekend. Hearty welcome from many friends. Baptist church much improved - new organ &c. Miss Ramsey very ill but brightened up with our visit. Tom also down. February 1915 Feb. 8th, Moved into 639 Euclid Avenue. House entirely decorated except 2 rooms. Very cold weather . Lots of snow but house very warm. 25th, Mr H W Frost called to ask me to become Treasurer of the C I M March 1915 6th, My birthday still suffering from carbuncles, going on since early in December.
