I've been using this for some of my newer MOCs. It has the advantage of using those "bracket 1x2 - 1x4" pieces I rarely need for anything else. It also has 8 studs on the bottom, allowing me to really firmly attach the underside of the cockpit. If you put two of the 1x1 tiles with clip onto the recessed studs in the front, you can attach windscreen 92279 and it will nicely lock into place against the next row of studs in the closed position.
